So we’re back home from our quick run to the east coast. Other than some van issues summed up in an interview I did HERE with JUNNNKTANK, everything went pretty great. All the shows were a blast so thank you to anyone who came out, or helped put on the show or played the show. It was awesome getting to see so many old friends and make a bunch of new ones along the way. I sort of miss hanging out with those Decay dudes all day. For 8 people crammed in one van for two weeks we had a pretty good time. Sorry to Erik O’Neill who not only went 0 for 4 against me in Scrabble but also was completely destroyed in the cleanliness contest. 12 days no shower and I still smell like a goddam dream. I warned him but he’s young and foolish still.
On a shitty note, we had to postpone our hometown record release show because we still don’t have any records to release. Instead of continually pushing back dates we’ve opted to hold out announcing the rescheduled date until we are actually physically in possession of everything. Look for a very similar line up at a very similar venue with hopefully an equally good time to be had.
Right now there isn’t too much going on. Geoff’s other band is going to be doing some recording soon, Steve’s other band is also wrapping up some new songs and playing shows regularly and I’m bumming around Civilian Printing all summer if anyone needs any screen printing done.
Hopefully we’ll see you at the record release show sometime in June.
